The Hutchwilco Boat Show (HBS), the longest running boat show in New Zealand, will make its return May 16-19, 2024. Held at the Auckland Showgrounds, this is the country’s largest show of its kind. Exhibition Manager Helen Kay says, the focus of HBS is “bringing everyone together, to unify the industry.”
The HBS will offer fun for the whole family with activities including bumper boats, rideable rodeo-style shark, and an inflatable pirate ship bounce house. Guests can indulge in the Māori concept of Kaimoana – the practice of gathering food from the sea. Over 20 vendors will have food, beverages, spices, and more for purchase.
HBS will host over 200 exhibitors including:
- 45 featured boat companies
- Marine engine and trailer manufacturers
- Fishing gear and water toys suppliers
- Interactive presentations by industry experts
